AB  - This article deals with the Female Chamber Choir from Jirkov (Czech Republic) and its 50-year anniversary. It briefly acquaints the reader with the history of the choir. It also introduces the choir conductor Jaroslav Cyrus who significantly affected the choir movement in Northern Bohemia and other parts of the former Czechoslovakia during the second half of the 20th century.
