Miluše Obešlová

\r\n\r\n\r\nSpectral analysis, as a very widespread research method, is also used in human voice research. Currently, there are several companies abroad that produce software capable of analyzing the human voice and displaying its individual parameters, in addition to other audio editing functions. Some software is used in the study of speech and language in university courses around the world, some is intended primarily for clinical purposes, and others are created specifically for voice and singing teachers to teach singing as a tool for their feedback. The offer of these software isquite diverse and in connection with the rapid technological development, itcontinues to expand, innovate and is currently much more accessible even for ordinary users. Therefore, voice and singing pedagogy now has a great opportunity to use these new and available technologies and, in particular, to introduce them to students at universities in order to learn to work with them, use them in their studies and in their research activities, and thus contribute to the overall building of the scientific base the entire field.
