Jan Prchal
Aura musica vol. 13, 2021:25-29

One of the possible solutions is the implementation of another key competence called cultural awareness and expression.
Jak uchopit kulturní kompetenci jako klíčovou, jakou pozici v ní má umění/hudba?
Lenka Dohnalová
Aura musica vol. 13, 2021:30-33
In the current education system, "cultural competence" does not belong to the key competences. This is mainly due to the fact that "culture" is perceived departmentally, in current strategic documents still defined primarily by cultural heritage with attention to the instrumental usefulness of creative thinking typical for "culture" for "knowledge economy" or "responsible citizenship", or "intercultural tolerance". In order for cultural competence to be "key", it must be applicable to more than one field. From the author's point of view, understanding the functioning of culture, not only its content, is key to the systematicity and anchoring of all...
