From 1 to 4 December 2022, The International Days "Sharing" with the subtitle Networking of pedagogical study programs took place at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg. The contribution deals with the tonal song method of Ladislav Daniel and its use in music education in various types of schools, especially for students of teaching at primary schools. This method also has an indispensable place in voice and intonation training in selective children's choirs. Its specificity is its link to Czech, Moravian and Slovak folk songs.

This article presents a method of vocal training for male voices in which the strengthening of falsetto register plays a major role. Ideas here presented are united by the belief that it is the extensor muscle in larynx that should play the main role in singing. The aim of the paper is to bring a critical perspective on the unilateral involvement of the chest register during male voice training and to point out the advantages of the strenghthening of the falsetto as viewed by selected authors.
