The Finish composer and teacher Einojuhani Rautavaara can be considered an outstanding world artistic personality of the music of the second half of the 20th and the beginning of the 21th century. He went through several creative periods during his lifetime and left behind an oeuvre of great artistic value. The text focuses on his professional life, but mainly on his compositions for choirs.
